EACS  bord members have reached an agreement with the UK's Association of University Chief Security Officers - AUCSO .

AUCSO has  agreed on its last AGM in april 2009 to form a European Region where the present members of EACS/AESC can join.

So in the future the two organisations can put together strengths and can cooperate at the same time on the european level. AUCSO is an organization with a higher

degree of organization due to its big membership of alone over 80 universities in the UK.

The Board of EACS invites present members and new applicants to join the European Region of the Association of University Chief Security Officers - AUCSO
